Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Solar Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Solar Service Department in a hybrid Enniscorthy role. You will lead the Service Technician team, manage service requests from triage to completion and act as the primary customer contact, ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will drive KPI reporting, quality audits, and improvements while supporting new revenue streams through proactive O&M services.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience managing field service operations.
• Experience in scheduling/ coordinating service teams.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Experience with service management software (Zoho Desk) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule the Service Technician team to ensure efficient service delivery and rapid customer response.
• Oversee service requests from initial triage through to completion, prioritising emergencies and minimising backlogs.
• Act as the main customer contact, providing technical support and regular service updates.
• Coordinate quality audits, O&M appointments, equipment, spare parts and subcontractors.
• Lead, coach and support technicians, including assistance with technical fault diagnosis.
• Monitor service performance, develop KPIs and report on departmental results.
• Identify recurring issues and implement process improvements, automation and proactive maintenance initiatives.
• Support the growth of new revenue streams through proactive servicing and O&M services.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, compliance and service documentation.
