Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver renewable energy construction projects across Ireland. You will manage plans, budgets and schedules, coordinate design, procurement and commissioning, and lead site teams to ensure high standards of safety and quality.

You will act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, drive risk management, and ensure a smooth handover at project completion. Based in Ireland with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in renewable energy, construction, or infrastructure.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and subcontractors.
• Experience leading site teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong health, safety, quality assurance and risk management knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in renewable energy or solar PV projects would be highly advantageous.
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related discipline is desirable.
• You must be based in Ireland and available to work on projects across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules and budgets with milestones.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Lead on-site construction teams and subcontractors to deliver high standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, costs and contracts; identify opportunities to improve project performance.
• Ensure works meet health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Oversee project documentation and smooth commissioning and handover.
