Job summary

O’Neill & Brennen is hiring an experienced Site Engineer for a new build residential project in Limerick. The successful candidate will join the site team on a permanent basis and will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed accurately, safely and to the required standards.

Key duties include checking plans, supervising setting out, levelling and surveying, using AutoCAD to verify site dimensions, liaising with sub-contractors and site managers,

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer for a main contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Strong experience on new build residential projects.
• Proven experience in setting out and surveying on construction sites.
• Proficient in Total Station, GPS and other surveying equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Provide progress reports for the site management team and clients.
• Supervise setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Regularly use AutoCAD to check site dimensions.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and site managers.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are maintained.
