Job summary

ICDS Group in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer for a major city-centre development in Dublin 8. The role focuses on day-to-day engineering delivery, working with the Project Manager, Site Management, subcontractors and design consultants.

You will lead setting out, surveying and coordination to ensure works align with drawings, specifications and programme, while maintaining rigorous QA and site records.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience as Site Engineer on large-scale projects.
• Strong setting-out and technical engineering skills.
• Experience on commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use schemes.
• Proficiency with engineering software and surveying equipment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to perform well in a busy site environment.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying construction works on site.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs and programme.
• Review and coordinate technical information and drawings.
• Resolve technical queries on site with subcontractors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to meet quality standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and maintain site records.
• Assist with planning, sequencing and coordination of works.
• Monitor progress and support Site Management.
• Liaise with design team and project stakeholders.
• Support safe, efficient delivery to programme.
