Job summary

WSP is looking for a Senior/Principal System Safety Engineer in Dublin to provide system safety support on complex rail projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related engineering discipline and experience in system safety engineering. This role includes responsibilities such as leading smaller projects and working collaboratively to develop designs and technical standards. Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or extensive relevant experience.
• Relevant post-graduate experience in system safety engineering.
• Knowledge of the Common Safety Method on Risk Evaluation and Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide system safety support and guidance on complex projects.
• Lead smaller projects with mentorship from senior team members.
• Plan and chair Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment workshops.
