Job summary

Anduril Industries in Dublin seeks a Lead Production Technician to own the end-to-end returns and repairs process for Voyager products. You will manage in/out processing, testing, troubleshooting, repair reporting and shipment, while building the RMA function from the ground up and growing the team.

You will work hands-on across SAP and production systems, document diligently, and drive turnaround time and metrics, keeping stakeholders informed across teams.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Voyager production team deliver products to third party customers, and to other Anduril business lines. We are looking for a Lead Production Technician to join our growing team in Dublin. This is a key role responsible for owning the end-to-end returns and repairs process for Voyager products - from in/out processing of field returns through functional test, troubleshooting, repair reporting and return shipment - keeping customers, production and R&D updated at every stage. This will require hands-on test and fault-finding skills, confidence working across SAP and production systems, and a methodical, detail-driven approach to documentation. Just as important, you will build and lead the RMA function and team from the ground up — standing up the processes, tooling and metrics, and growing and developing the people who run them. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own RMA deliverables end to end — from in/out processing of field returns through test, repair and return shipment, including tracking of returns internally and externally
• Build and lead the RMA function and team — defining the processes, tooling and metrics, and coaching and developing the people who run them
• Test, diagnose and repair returned product using standard test procedures — troubleshooting customer and production issues, and implementing fixes or escalating through internal processes as required
• Produce the customer-facing outputs of the process — quotations for out-of-warranty repairs and repair reports supplied to customers
• Keep RMA data and documentation accurate and current — data management in SAP, test results accurately documented and reported to Test & Quality, and process documentation updated in a timely manner
• Own turnaround time and reporting metrics for the RMA function, and drive improvement against them
• Keep stakeholders aligned — continually update customers, production and R&D on progress, attend RMA meetings with US-based customer success teams, and plan internal RMA team updates and communications
• Source material for CM shortages from our supplier base and represent RMA in production meetings

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 4 years previous relevant experience
• Proven ability to build and lead a function or team - setting up processes from scratch, and mentoring and developing others
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Methodical approach to testing with great attention to detail
• Ability to plan, organise and clearly document work
• Flexible approach
• Must be authorised to work in Ireland.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• NFQ Certificate (Level 6) or Diploma/Higher Certificate/Ord Degree (Level 7) in a relevant discipline, e.g. Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronics, Process Technology or Manufacturing, or equivalent
• Knowledge of SAP or Oracle would be an advantage
