Job summary

Arcadis DPS Group in Dublin seeks a Lead Process Engineer to guide the process design team for pharmaceutical and life science projects across Ireland and Europe. You will lead production process development and plant improvements, reporting to the Process Dept Manager, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a process engineer in design consultancy or pharma/Life Science manufacturing environments; must have led design processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines, A&E teams, vendors, and system owners.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities; fluent English communication.
• Experience leading a process design team and delivering PFDs, P&IDs, and process deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Shape project success by scoping projects, delivering process engineering deliverables on time and within budget.
• Lead the implementation of process designs, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget with clear documentation and risk mitigation.
• Engage with clients to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers to integrate process inputs.
• Uphold local and international codes and standards; drive safety and quality through PHAs/HAZOPs.
• Mentor and inspire a diverse engineering team to achieve project goals.
