Job summary

Stryker Group in Carrigtwohill, Ireland, is seeking a Lead Process Development Engineer (Senior Staff) to drive end-to-end process development for precision surgical blade production. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and at least 6 years in manufacturing or process development, with expertise in DFM, statistics, GD&T, and structured problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in manufacturing, process or product development.
• Experience with new product introductions and process development.
• Knowledge of DFM, statistics, validation and verification.
• Ability to read GD&T drawings.
• Experience with structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects by defining technical objectives and driving outcomes.
• Lead capital equipment acquisition including specs, supplier engagement, installation, and validation.
• Develop, characterize, and optimize manufacturing processes through hands-on testing and experimentation.
• Provide engineering support for new product introductions per product development procedures.
• Ensure processes meet product, quality, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Support PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, and PPAP activities.
• Review and approve validation documentation and support verification/qualification.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across teams.
