Job summary

Stryker Ireland is seeking a Manufacturing Process Development Engineer to elevate NPI delivery, technical rigour and GMP-compliant processes throughout product launches. You will coach the engineering team, drive data-driven decisions and ensure scalable, high-quality manufacturing outputs.

Hybrid work is available, and the role involves leading capability studies, PFMEA and process qualification across manual to automated lines, with a focus on cost, performance and time to market.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Precision Engineering or related engineering discipline with 4+ years industry experience.
  • Strong engineering judgement with focus on DFx, design for manufacture, inspection and assembly.
  • Experience applying six sigma, statistics and problem solving in manufacturing contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Own manufacturing process development workstreams and drive technical direction across project workstreams.
  • Ensure governance and discipline across process workstreams and apply engineering best practices.
  • Lead DOE studies to determine optimal operating parameters and validate processes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to define, develop and validate manufacturing solutions.
  • Lead or support PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs and launch documentation for new products.
  • Provide training and mentoring to manufacturing teams and engineers.
