Job summary

Hickeys Pharmacy in Ballincollig, Cork is recruiting a Support Pharmacist for a 40-hour, permanent role within a dedicated team including a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and technicians.

You will be responsible for day-to-day running of the dispensary, stock management, and ensuring compliance with controlled drugs regulations while delivering excellent customer service and helping drive business in-store.

Qualifications

• Must have PSI registration and hold a degree in Pharmacy.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Capable of working on own initiative.
• Drive business within the dispensary and store.
• Communicate effectively with a variety of personalities.
• Proactively drive excellence in customer service throughout the store at all times.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day running of the dispensary
• Take final responsibility within the store for Stock Management specifically relating to, purchasing, ordering, stock management, merchandising, date checking and stocktaking
• Take final responsibility for ensuring controlled drugs regulations are strictly adhered to
• Take final responsibility for Pharmacy Presentation Standards

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Support Pharmacist to join the team in our Hickeys Pharmacy in Ballincollig, Cork.

This is a 40 hour permanent position. The team currently comprises a Store Manager, an Assistant Store Manager, 1 Support Pharmacist, 1 Relief Pharmacist, and 3 technicians. This store has manageable items and services.
