Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd in Cork, Ireland, seeks a Packaging Engineering Lead for a long-term contract to drive the delivery, commissioning and start-up of a next‑generation packaging facility.

You will oversee installation and qualification of packaging systems, lead start-up strategy and FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ, and manage cross‑functional teams and external partners to meet safety, quality and OEE targets.

Qualifications

• Extensive engineering exp. in food/beverage or related manufacturing.
• Experience overseeing packaging systems installation and qualification.
• Leadership of cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Experience leading start-up and ramp-up to target OEE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, integration, commissioning, and qualification of packaging systems.
• Lead commissioning/start-up strategy, FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, ramp up to target OEE, punch list closure.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues during construction, commissioning, and start up to meet hygiene and safety requirements.
