Job summary

QCS Staffing is seeking a Packaging Engineer for a Cork, Ireland project within the life sciences sector. The role focuses on aseptic/ESL filling systems, delivering start-up activities and ensuring compliance throughout installation, commissioning, and qualification processes.

Ideal candidates will have extensive engineering experience in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or nutrition manufacturing, with a proven track record in CAPEX or greenfield projects and strong leadership of

Qualifications

Extensive engineering experience in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or nutrition manufacturing.
Proven track record leading CAPEX or greenfield/brownfield industrial projects.
Strong exposure to aseptic/ESL filling and high-hygiene packaging technologies.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and external engineering partners.
Sherpa qualified preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the installation, integration, commissioning, and qualification of aseptic/ESL filling systems, ensuring safe and compliant start-up activities.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EPCM partners, and OEM suppliers to deliver packaging systems aligned with project requirements.
Assist with troubleshooting, performance testing, documentation, and operational readiness activities to ensure successful handover to production teams.
