Job summary

Danone Specialized Nutrition is building a new liquid nutrition facility in Ireland. We seek a Packaging Engineering Lead (Filler & EOL) to own end-to-end packaging execution—from installation and commissioning to qualification and ramp-up, leading two engineers and coordinating with EPCM partners and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in engineering within food, beverage, dairy, or nutrition manufacturing.
• Proven CAPEX or greenfield/brownfield project leadership experience.
• Experience with aseptic/high-hygiene packaging tech is essential.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the filler & EOL packaging engineering workstream and set priorities.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and qualification of packaging systems.
• Coordinate with EPCM partners, OEMs and construction teams for readiness.
• Manage CAPEX scope, cost control, schedule adherence and reporting.
• Ensure packaging systems meet Danone standards and safety requirements.
