Job summary

Aviva Life & Pensions is seeking an Operational Risk & Control Team Lead to join our Customer Experience team in Ireland. You will lead a team of risk champions, guiding risk and control practices and providing insights to governance forums to strengthen our risk management and regulatory compliance across the business.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Customer Experience and the wider organization, shaping risk culture and delivering robust reporting to support executive

Qualifications

• Experience in operational risk, controls or compliance within a regulated environment.
• Ability to lead and coach teams across functions.
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills for senior leadership.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and control testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of risk champions within the Customer Experience function.
• Act as a key contact for risk and control matters across the business.
• Monitor the ORCM framework and report insights through governance forums and iCare.
• Identify, assess and escalate risks; support mitigation actions and risk events management.
• Coordinate control testing activities and contribute to risk and conduct reporting for governance and regulatory needs.
