Job summary

Blackrock Clinic in Dublin is seeking a Clinical Specialist Radiographer (Nuclear Medicine) to lead the Nuclear Medicine department. You will supervise radiographers, optimise patient workflows, and develop SOPs to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.

The role requires a BSc in Radiography, a Postgraduate Diploma in Nuclear Medicine, and CORU registration, with 6+ years in the field. On-site 35 hours/week, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Nuclear Medicine.
• CORU Registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Nuclear Medicine department and staff daily.
• Ensure patient workflows are efficient and waiting times are minimised.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for Nuclear Medicine.
• Maintain a quality assurance program for all Nuclear Medicine equipment.
• Supervise and train less experienced staff in Nuclear Medicine.
• Perform and lead clinical audits to identify improvements.
• Be involved in on-call services as required.
• Support service development and new initiatives.
