Job summary

Kerry County Council is seeking a Network Management Support Engineer to lead the management and delivery of its Road Signing and Delineation and other Network Management activities on the national road network in the South West Region.

The role includes directing the Network Management Support Team, allocating resources, mentoring junior staff, and overseeing Road Sign Maintenance and Delineation Maintenance Contracts to ensure value for money and compliance with standards. 30 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a network management or similar teams.
• Experience managing road signage/delineation programs.
• Ability to deliver programmes and report progress.

Responsibilities

• Manage Network Management Support Team day-to-day resource allocation and mentoring.
• Lead delivery of the Network Management Support activities and programmes of work in the South-West Region, ensuring delivery of programme objectives and targets, and provision of regular reporting.
• Manage the Road Sign Maintenance and Delineation Maintenance Contracts to ensure they perform to the required levels and provide good value for money.
