Job summary

Solas IT Recruitment is looking for a hands-on .Net Team Lead to guide a development team in Dublin. You'll combine technical leadership and delivery to support the modernisation of cloud and AI-enabled engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on cloud migration using Azure, CI/CD, and mentoring engineers. The organization offers an attractive salary package and numerous benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, including 3–5+ in a technical leadership or development management role.
• Proven track record working with mixed teams (internal, contractors, and third parties).
• Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the full software development lifecycle.
• Lead migration from legacy systems to modern cloud-based architecture.
• Mentor and coach engineers to support technical growth.

Skills

Cloud migration or cloud-native development (Azure preferred)

Strong hands-on experience with modern stacks (e.g. .NET, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, React)

CI/CD pipelines

DevOps practices

Experience retiring or replacing legacy platforms

Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Tools

Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-305, AZ-400)
