Lead MEP Estimator for Hyperscale Data Centers

Job summary

CTS Group is seeking an experienced MEP Lead Estimator to join our growing Dublin office, supporting hyperscale Data Center projects. The role involves leading preparation, coordination and delivery of accurate, competitive estimates.

Reporting to the Head of Estimating, you will work closely with bid management, commercial, engineering, procurement and operations teams to develop cost estimates, evaluate risks and opportunities, and support winning tender submissions from initial enquiry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g., Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management)
• Minimum 7 years' experience in MEP estimating within construction, industrial or mission-critical environments
• Experience estimating large-scale Data Center projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems and commercial principles
• Experience preparing detailed cost estimates, take-offs, tender pricing and value engineering proposals
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and employer's requirements
• Experience managing multiple tenders and working to tight submission deadlines
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to identify project risks and opportunities
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Fluent English essential

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, coordination and delivery of accurate, competitive MEP estimates for major Data Center projects
• Collaborate with bid management, commercial, engineering, procurement and operations teams to develop cost estimates
• Evaluate project risks and opportunities and support winning tender submissions from enquiry through to handover
