Job summary

Rockwell in Cork is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to support the Workshop Manager in the day-to-day running of the mechanical workshop at our Co. Cork headquarters.

You will coordinate work, lead the workshop team, read engineering drawings and ensure quality, safety and timely delivery while maintaining equipment and tools. This is a permanent, full-time role offering opportunities for growth and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in mechanical, pipefitting or fabrication with supervisory experience.
• Level 6 QQI Mechanical Craft or equivalent trade qualification.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and isometrics.

Responsibilities

• Support the Workshop Manager with day-to-day running of the workshop.
• Coordinate and allocate work to workshop personnel to meet schedule.
• Lead and support the workshop team with technical guidance.
• Coordinate mechanical fabrication, pipework and assembly activities.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and isometrics.
• Ensure work meets quality, safety and customer standards.
