Shaw Commercials Group in Castlebar is looking for a Workshop Foreman to oversee the service department. The focus is on leading a team in a fast-paced Renault Trucks workshop, ensuring efficiency and quality control in all tasks.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified HGV/Plant Mechanic with strong diagnostic and leadership skills. Responsibilities include managing workloads, maintaining standards, and supporting technician development. A full clean driving licence is required, and a truck license is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Foreman/Senior Technician or Master Tech is desirable.
• Full clean driving licence is required.
• Truck license is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support a team of technicians in a fast-paced Renault Trucks workshop.
• Assign and manage daily workload to maximise efficiency.
• Oversee quality control and ensure all work meets Renault Trucks standards.
• Assist with diagnostics, complex repairs, and fault finding.
• Maintain accurate job cards, documentation, and warranty compliance.
• Liaise with Service Advisors, Parts, and Management.
• Maintain workshop organisation, safety, and productivity.
• Support technician development and continuous training.
• Handle escalated customer concerns professionally.
