Athenry Truck and Refrigeration Centre Limited are seeking 10 motor vehicle technicians to join their team in Co. Galway. This full-time permanent role offers a salary of €45,000–€54,000 per annum and a 40-hour working week.

You will service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles, diagnose faults and carry out inspections, using diagnostic equipment to ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards. To apply you must be a qualified CV/automotive technician with at least five years’

Qualifications

• Qualified Commercial Vehicle, Automotive or motor vehicle Technician.
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification workshop experience.
• Experience working on Volkswagen Crafter or MAN TGE vehicles.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles and vans (VW Crafter and MAN TGE).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Complete vehicle inspections and roadworthiness assessments.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify issues.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
• Complete workshop documentation and job cards accurately.
• Mentor junior technicians where required.

Job Description

Athenry Truck and Refrigeration Centre Limited are looking for 10 motor vehicle technicians to join their team in Co. Galway, H65 NX33. This is a full time permanent position. Salary: €45,000 - €54,000 per annum 40hr work week. Duties include and are not limited to: Service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles and vans (Volkswagen Crafter and MAN TGE) Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Complete vehicle inspections and roadworthiness assessments Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify issues Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to manufacturer standards Support and mentor junior technicians where required Complete workshop documentation and job cards accurately Work collaboratively with parts and service departments Requirements: Qualified Commercial Vehicle, Automotive or motor vehicle Technician. Minimum 5 years' post-qualification workshop experience Proven experience working on Volkswagen Crafter vehicles or MAN TGE vehicles Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills Good understanding of modern vehicle electrical systems Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team Must have carried out warranty work and familiarity with fleet maintenance environment Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
