Job summary

Trump International Doonbeg in Ireland is seeking a Lead Greenkeeper to head a 15–30 person crew and ensure top-quality turf maintenance. You will supervise daily schedules, mentor staff, and coordinate with the Assistant Superintendent to uphold championship course standards.

The role requires 3–5 years’ greenkeeper experience, NVQ Level 3 in Sports Turf Management, pesticide certifications PA1/PA2/PA6, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years as a qualified Greenkeeper and mentoring junior staff.
• NVQ Level 3 in Sports Turf Management or regional equivalent.
• Valid pesticide application certificates (PA1/PA2/PA6) or regional equivalents.
• Valid driver's license required to operate course vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and organize a 15–30 greenkeeping crew.
• Oversee turf maintenance: mowing, aeration, overseeding and bunkers.
• Calibrate and supervise chemical, fertilizer and irrigation operations.
• Ensure safety, PPE use and equipment maintenance across the team.
