Job summary

Skibbereen & West Carbery Golf Club in County Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Lead Greenkeeper to maintain and care for our golf course and landscaped areas. The role involves leading a greenkeeping team and ensuring the course is kept to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will have a qualification in greenkeeping or related disciplines, at least five years of greenkeeping experience, and a proven leadership record.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Greenkeeping, Sports Turf Management, Horticulture or related discipline
• Minimum five years greenkeeping experience
• Supervisory or team leadership experience
• Full driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Maintain greens, tees, fairways, rough, bunkers and landscaped areas
• Lead and supervise the greenkeeping team and allocate daily work schedules
• Prepare the course for daily play, competitions and events
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
