Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager to lead complex fire protection projects from design through commissioning in Dublin. You will oversee technical execution, manage risks, ensure QA/QC, and deliver safe, on-budget results while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires engineering/related degree and at least 5 years of project leadership experience in fire protection or similar sectors, with demonstrated QA/QC and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria drawn from ad: engineering/technical degree, 5+ years leading engineering/construction projects, QA/QC processes, PQP/ITP docs, audits and NCR handling, fire protection project experience, ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical oversight of fire protection systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Management of project risks and mitigation plans.
• Quality assurance and inspection requirements.
• Client relationship and stakeholder management.
• Final handover, certification, and project closeout responsibilities.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reporting on status, schedule, costs.
• Maintain a project register with up-to-date status.
