Mercury in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site management of fire protection systems for complex installations. You will coordinate trades, ensure safety, quality, and adherence to the project programme while delivering ahead of schedule.
The role requires strong leadership, proven ability to drive large installation projects, and collaboration across design, planning and client teams. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential.

The Construction Manager owns the project execution for the fire protection systems. You will report to the Operations/Contracts Manager, and in conjunction with that person you will set specific goals for your elements of the project that align with the overall project objectives. Your role is primarily to ensure that the project is built in accordance with the scope; schedule and budget as set out in the overall project programme. While the package lead is the project manager for a given scope, your job the “on the ground management” of the trades. Given the size and complexity of our project’s collaboration across all of the disciplines is key to our success, and as such you will not only need to take direction from the package, but you will need to interact with all other packages in developing and implementing the construction plans. You will be one that directly manages the trades personnel; ensures that all works are carried out in the most efficient manner, and the highest possible quality standards. In this position you are required to deliver the scope of work as described in the design documents/specification, within the allotted budget and ahead of schedule. You will also fulfil the role of coach/mentor to more junior personnel in your team.
