Job summary

FinnLough is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead day-to-day maintenance across the resort and manage a small team, contractors, and suppliers. The role focuses on safety, compliance, and an exceptional guest experience across water systems and spa facilities.

You will diagnose recurring issues, maintain preventive schedules, and coordinate with hotel departments to prioritise issues impacting guests. Accommodation may be available subject to availability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager, Facilities Manager, or Team Lead role.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Proactive, organised approach to maintenance planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and budgets.
• Good knowledge of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and support the maintenance team; allocate tasks and manage daily priorities.
• Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance; develop preventive schedules and maintain records.
• Oversee water systems and spa facilities; ensure compliance and safety.
• Manage external contractors and service providers; monitor budgets and costs.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Spa, Housekeeping, F&B and senior leadership to prioritise guest-impacting issues.
