Finn Lough, hiring through Hosco in Pettigo, seeks an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor/Assistant Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.

You will supervise and motivate the housekeeping team, coordinate with maintenance, train staff, manage supplies, and schedule rosters while maintaining cost-efficiency. A live-in option is possible depending on availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the housekeeping team, ensuring daily tasks are completed to the highest standard.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities to maintain quality control.
• Train, mentor, and support housekeeping staff to uphold best practices in cleanliness, hygiene, and customer service.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to report and address any issues promptly.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen, placing orders as required.
• Oversee and assist the laundry services.
• Work alongside the team to deliver guestroom turnovers in a timely manner to the high standard expected.
• Assist with scheduling and staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage while managing labour costs.
• Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring all housekeeping procedures comply with industry standards.
• Support the housekeeping team in delivering a seamless guest experience by responding to special requests and resolving issues efficiently. Live-in is a possibility to relocate according to availability.
