Job summary

Panametrics is looking for an Embedded Software/Firmware Development Engineer with 5+ years of C/C++ experience to join our global Technology team. In this role, you will work closely with Electronics design teams, manufacturing and services to design next generation industrial sensing products.

You will be a key player in full software development life cycle and collaborate across functions to design, validate and certify embedded systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years’ experience developing embedded C/C++ on ARM targets and embedded OS such as Linux/QNX.
Hands-on with Git, SVN and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

Lead design activities and break down work packages for the firmware team.
Coach engineers in core deliverables: software/firmware development, validation, and maintenance of embedded systems.
Evaluate system requirements with Product Specialists and Product Managers.
Perform cross-platform C/C++ development while maintaining code quality and automation.
Support sustaining activities across a broad product portfolio.
