Job summary

Fortivum is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer to drive the design and delivery of hyperscale data centre projects on the client side. You will lead complex electrical systems from concept to commissioning, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring mission-critical performance.

Role requires a degree in electrical engineering and 8+ years in large-scale or data centre environments, with strong leadership and communication skills to interface with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• 8+ years' experience in large-scale or mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience leading electrical design and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of power systems and building services integration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design development, review, and approval across all project stages.
• Provide technical oversight on HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution.

Summary

Fortivum is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer to drive the design and delivery of hyperscale data centre projects. This is a client-side role offering the opportunity to lead complex electrical systems across the full project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design development, review, and approval across all project stages.
• Provide technical oversight on HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Act as the main technical interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and mission-critical performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
