Job summary

Reperio Human Capital Ltd in Ireland is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to own the platform's infrastructure from design through to production. You will report to the CTO and work with a small DevOps team, with most time spent remotely and 1–2 days a month in Galway.

You will drive infrastructure as code, design and operate Kubernetes clusters (cloud and on-prem), maintain an offline installer for air-gapped deployments, and own CI/CD pipelines with on-site IT collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience running production Kubernetes, cloud and on-prem
• Track record owning infrastructure end-to-end
• Strong Linux admin, networking and troubleshooting skills
• IaC and CI/CD experience
• Scripting in Bash or Python
• Experience with self-hosted observability tools (Prometheus/Loki)
• Clear English writing and speaking
• Experience with on-prem installations for customer IT teams

Responsibilities

• Build and run environments as code, from CI through production
• Design and operate Kubernetes clusters in cloud and on-prem
• Build and maintain offline installers for air-gapped deployments
• Own CI/CD pipelines and align dev environments with production
• Run secure private networks with controlled egress
• Manage self-hosted observability (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting)
• Deploy and operate AI model endpoints and inference serving
• Support customer IT teams during installations and upgrades
• Keep architecture docs, decision logs and runbooks up to date
