Job summary

Equinix, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Critical Facilities Engineer Level IV to lead and coach the team in maintaining and evolving data centre infrastructure. You will guide technicians, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is performed promptly to keep systems running.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with several years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and ensures technical operation of key infrastructure in Equinix data centres; performs preventive and corrective maintenance and coordinates with subcontractors.
• Supports service providers through the work approval process, ensuring maintenance activities follow Equinix SOPs and updates to technical files.
• Performs site logs for permits (e.g., MOPs) and identifies Single Points of Failure, advising on improvements.
• Executes routine work requests and circuit installations; troubleshoots office equipment and supports infrastructure projects.
• Collaborates across teams to resolve incidents and mentors junior staff in general maintenance activities.
