Job summary

ProSource Recruitment Limited is assisting a leading Cork construction firm to recruit a skilled General Foreman to oversee projects from start to finish. You will supervise carpenters, laborers and subcontractors, manage scheduling and budgets, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with clients and architects on project goals.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years' experience, strong leadership and project management skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction leadership.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation for construction projects.
• Direct carpenters, laborers and subcontractors to meet specs and quality.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with codes and plans.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory practices on site.
• Maintain open communication with clients, architects and subcontractors.
• Identify and resolve construction issues quickly and effectively.
