Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Ireland seeks a Conference and Banqueting Manager to lead a dynamic team in our hotel. You will oversee the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, banquets and events, while ensuring cost-effective operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the General/Deputy Manager, you will recruit and develop staff, schedule rosters, manage beverage purchasing, and optimise service delivery, always aiming for excellence.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a management role preferred.
• Experience in 3/4-star hotel environment is an advantage.
• Proven ability to train, motivate and manage a team to deliver top service.
• Experience coordinating large and small functions from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup and operation of meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings and events.
• Lead and develop the C&B team according to SOPs.
• Forecast staffing and create rosters aligned with budget and business needs.
• Ensure high standards and procedures across operations.
• Maximize sales opportunities during event planning and execution.
• Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
