Job summary

OpenText in Cork, Ireland is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain resilient systems across Windows and Linux environments.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in SRE/DevOps, deep Kubernetes expertise, and strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles supporting production-grade systems.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale.
• Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, GitLab or GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain resilient systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Lead incident response and postmortem analysis for critical systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence architectural decisions.
• Contribute to AI-driven observability and anomaly detection initiatives.
