• At least 4 years’ relevant carpentry experience.
• Carpentry trade qualification or demonstrable equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first- and second-fix carpentry on residential extensions, attic conversions and modular homes.
• Install timber stud walls, floors, roof structures, doors, skirting, architraves and internal finishes.
• Fit kitchens, internal doors, partitions, stairs and other timber components.
• Read and work from architectural, structural and site drawings.
• Assist with installation and finishing of modular-home components.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install timber and sheet materials accurately.
• Work safely alongside plumbers, electricians, blocklayers and other trades.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area in accordance with site health-and-safety procedures.

Essential requirements

• At least 4 years’ relevant experience as a Carpenter.
• Relevant carpentry trade qualification or demonstrable equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience in residential first fix, second fix, timber framing and internal finishing.
• Ability to read construction drawings and work independently.
• Safe Pass or willingness to obtain a Safe Pass before starting work.
