Job summary

Talent-Curve is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to lead finishing trades on large residential developments in Swords, North Dublin. You will drive the works from interior finishes to snagging and handover, coordinating trades and ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications.

The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail and proven ability to manage programme schedules while upholding high health and safety standards. Residential project experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman, Finishing Manager or Senior Foreman on residential projects.
• Strong experience managing finishing trades and subcontractors.
• Residential or apartment project experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Trade background, particularly carpentry/joinery, would be advantageous.
• Ability to drive works to programme while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all finishing trades and subcontractors.
• Drive works from internal finishes through to snagging and final handover.
• Monitor quality and ensure works are completed in line with drawings and specifications.
• Manage snagging and ensure defects are identified and closed out efficiently.
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly finishing activities in line with the project programme.
• Liaise closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, design team and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and proactively address issues or delays.
• Ensure high standards of Health & Safety are maintained across all finishing activities.
• Manage materials, labour and site resources to maintain productivity.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.
