You will own architecture decisions, drive performance optimisations, and balance hands-on coding with leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing complex systems in modern C++.
• Proven track record leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, multithreading and performance optimisation.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of C++ engineers, providing technical guidance and promoting engineering best practices.
• Drive the design and development of mission-critical, high-performance systems.
• Collaborate with trading and quantitative teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Own architecture decisions, code quality, and long-term technical strategy.
