Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced skills in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, ReactJS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Lead effective use of AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, and testing, with secure outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.
• Proficiency across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Deep knowledge of agile methodologies including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems.
• Demonstrated cloud-native experience.
• Robust testing practices with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting, with the ability to solve complex problems.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code; review and debug code written by others.
• Drive team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and operations; establish validation standards.
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value realization.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to enhance stability of software systems.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and applicability.
