NES Fircroft is recruiting an AVEVA PI Engineer for a long-term, 12-month rolling contract on a €1B greenfield Drug Product Facility project in Dublin. The role covers design, implementation, and optimization of the PI data infrastructure, with integration to OT/IT systems and dashboards to support operations.

Involved in lifecycle activities, upgrades, and validation, the engineer will work with stakeholders across automation, IT, and engineering to deliver a robust PI solution with data

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with AVEVA PI System (OSIsoft PI).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation or related field.
• Strong knowledge of PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision, PI Interfaces/Connectors.
• Experience integrating PI with OPC/Modbus and OT/IT systems.
• Pharma/biopharma or regulated life sciences background preferred.
• Scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, or VBScript advantageous.
• Certifications in AVEVA PI are highly desirable.
• Experience on large-scale capital projects or greenfield facilities is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Design, configure, and implement AVEVA PI components (PI Data Archive, AF, Vision).
• Integrate PI with PLC, SCADA, DCS and other OT/IT systems.
• Develop, maintain PI AF structures, analytics, and event frames.
• Create PI Vision dashboards for operations and reporting.
• Support lifecycle activities: upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, performance.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and security across PI infrastructure.
• Collaborate with automation, IT, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Produce technical documentation and provide end-user training.
• Support design reviews, FATs/SATs, commissioning, qualification, and validation.
