Job summary

Jabil Ireland—Blanchardstown requires an Automation & Controls engineer to design, analyze, modify, and integrate robotics and automation for production lines. You will develop, implement, and test maintenance plans and tooling, while documenting engineering changes and ensuring equipment reliability.

You will lead complex projects, define validation plans, perform root-cause analyses, and mentor others, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations within a regulated manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Automation & Controls or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial process automation.
• Strong automation, robotics, and control systems expertise.
• Clear documentation and communication of complex concepts.
• Ability to apply data-driven decision making and validation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering tasks in design, analysis, modification, and integration of automation systems.
• Define validation strategies and develop test plans.
• Drive root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions for reliability improvements.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and configuration control.
