AstraZeneca in Dublin seeks an experienced Automation Architect to define and deliver secure OT Edge solutions across a global manufacturing network. You will lead design authority activities, govern multi-vendor delivery, and ensure compliant, scalable integrations with enterprise data platforms.

The role requires strong PLC/SCADA/DCS knowledge, OT security, GMP data integrity, and excellent cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• PLC/SCADA/DCS expertise across lifecycle: specification, procurement, integration, testing, commissioning and startup.
• OT Edge or industrial integration solutions connecting control systems with data platforms.
• OPC UA, MQTT, event-driven integration, asset models and data provenance.
• Secure, resilient OT architectures with segmentation, access management and high availability.
• Engineering governance for complex, multi-vendor projects.
• Strong communication within geographically dispersed teams.
• GMP computerized systems, validation and data integrity requirements.
• Fluent English; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead automation design authority for assigned projects ensuring compliance with GMP, cybersecurity and data integrity.
• Define OT scope from concept to detailed design and system selection for secure integration.
• Oversee lifecycle delivery including URS, architecture reviews and commissioning.
• Develop secure, scalable OT Edge solutions linking automation with enterprise data platforms.
• Manage external partners and vendors to ensure timely, compliant work.
• Provide governance to manage technical risk across multi-vendor efforts.
• Ensure documentation, resilience and supportability across lifecycle.
