Job summary

QCS Staffing seeks a Senior Automation Engineer for a life sciences project based in Ireland. You will lead end-to-end IT/OT project delivery, from initiation through handover, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks and benefits realisation.

Qualifications

• Strong and relevant experience in automation engineering and project delivery.
• Experience with MES solutions such as PAS-X is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory integration with OT systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow in project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT/OT projects from initiation through handover.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, IT security, and vendors to align objectives.
• Lead requirements gathering and design oversight for OT systems (PLC/SCADA/DCS, MES, OT networking).
• Ensure safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements are embedded throughout delivery.
