Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Ringaskiddy, Ireland seeks a Principal Engineer in GET Automation to lead lifecycle, OT infrastructure, and DeltaV/PLC automation. Drive cybersecurity resilience and future-ready automation strategies for the site.

You will manage multi-year roadmaps, budgets, and capital plans while engaging with manufacturing, compliance, reliability, and global CoE teams. Strong leadership in GMP environments is essential.

Qualifications

Third level Degree in engineering, science or an IT discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of Leadership and Delivery Execution.
Minimum of 8 years of experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Lead lifecycle management, governance and improvement of critical automation systems (Honeywell DeltaV, Siemens PLC).
Develop, manage and control project budgets and CARs; drive long-range financial planning for automation.
Own multi-year roadmaps for industrial automation; drive lifecycle sustainability and cybersecurity resilience.
Lead stakeholder engagement to ensure automation supports manufacturing, compliance and reliability.
Provide training and ensure safe execution of activities in Automation systems area.
