Job summary

Boylan Consulting is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Ireland. This role covers life-cycle assessment, carbon management, sustainability and environmental compliance across a range of sectors, from project inception through to delivery and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' relevant experience, work independently, manage multiple projects and deadlines, liaise confidently with clients and regulators, and contribute to the continued development of

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in sustainability, LCA or related field.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Confidently liaise with clients and regulators.
Education: BSc in Environmental Science or similar field.

Responsibilities

Perform Life-Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Whole Life Carbon Assessments (WLCA) for buildings and infrastructure.
Utilize LCA software (e.g., INDICATE) and BIM models to optimise embodied carbon.
Prepare technical reports and carbon assessments in line with standards.
Support clients to reduce environmental and carbon impacts through design and material optimisation.
Contribute to decarbonisation planning and sustainability assessments.
Apply ISO 14040/14044, EN 15978, and RICS WLCA guidance.
