Job description

We’re looking for a Geospatial Surveyor to join our growing survey team. This is a hands-on, varied role working across mobile mapping, UAV/drone surveys, laser scanning, MBS and traditional topographic surveys — using some of the best equipment in the industry.

If you enjoy being on site, working with modern survey technology, and developing new skills across different survey disciplines, this role will suit you well.

About the Role
  • Predominantly site-based, with time spent in the office for processing and drawing production
  • Work on a wide range of projects using GNSS, Total Stations, laser scanners, UAVs and mobile mapping systems (including NavVis)
  • Opportunity to gain experience across multiple survey methods rather than being stuck doing the same task every day
  • Some travel required depending on project location
  • Strong support, training and mentoring provided — but we’re also looking for someone who can bring practical skills to the table from day one.
Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out surveys using GNSS, Total Stations and laser scanning equipment
  • Assisting with and delivering topographic, MBS, UAV and mobile mapping surveys
  • Processing survey data and producing plans, drawings and elevations in AutoCAD
  • Working independently on site when required and contributing as part of a wider survey team
  • Liaising with management and clients to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and on time.
Requirements
  • 3rd level qualification in Land Surveying, Geomatics or a related discipline
  • 1+ years’ experience in a land surveying role
  • Full, clean Category B driving licence
  • Safe Pass / CSCS (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience using Trimble survey equipment and processing software (or similar)
  • Competent with AutoCAD for survey data processing and deliverables
  • Comfortable working on own initiative and making site-based decisions
  • Flexible approach to travel and working hours when required.
What We Offer
  • Salary above industry average
  • Excellent career development as the company continues to grow
  • Exposure to cutting-edge survey technology (NavVis, UAVs, laser scanning, mobile mapping)
  • Work on a wide variety of projects — no two weeks are the same
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Ongoing training, upskilling and support
  • A role well suited to a recently qualified or early-career surveyor who wants to progress quickly
