Job summary

AbbVie, a global biopharma leader, is seeking a Laboratory Analyst in Westport, Ireland. You will execute analyses of raw materials, in-process and finished products, ensuring compliance with the schedule and SOPs.

Responsibilities include maintaining data integrity, adhering to cGMP/GLP, and contributing to investigations of deviations. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in analytical science/biochemistry/toxicology preferred.
• Experience using HPLC/GC analytical methods is essential for Chemistry Lab.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and data integrity per SOPs.
• Adhere to cGMP and GLP requirements.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong data analysis to identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Execute analysis of raw materials, in-process material, and finished product in compliance with schedule.
• Complete analysis in accordance with SOP and standard methods.
• Maintain and comply with Laboratory Documentation and Computerized Systems Data Integrity requirements.
• Understand Regulations and business processes required to maintain Laboratory Data Integrity.
• Responsible for the timely completion of chemical testing.
• Ensure all test equipment is used and maintained correctly. Raise change requests and data verification as assigned.
• Ensure all in-process sampling and testing is completed on time.
• Maintain up-to-date, complete, and precise records of all tests performed.
• Adhere to cGMP and GLP requirements.
• Assist in the resolution of quality problems as required.
• Participation in investigations into failures, out of trends and out of specifications as required.
• Develop in-house laboratory procedures as appropriate.
• Support the transfer of new products.
• Adhere to and supports all EHS standards, procedures, and policies.
• Keepworkarea clean and tidy, participation in the 6S program.
• Relevant industry experience preferred.
