Job summary

AbbVie in Ireland, Sligo, is seeking an experienced QC Supervisor to lead a team of laboratory analysts within the Quality Control function. You will ensure testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability studies meet GMP standards and regulatory requirements.

You will coach 2–12 analysts, drive data integrity, investigations, CAPAs, and collaboration with Manufacturing, QA, and Supply Chain to deliver high-quality results on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 4 years' analytical laboratory experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong hands-on expertise in analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, LCMS, GCMS, titration, and identification methods.
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and data integrity principles.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or team coaching experience.
• Experience supporting product or method transfers is an advantage.

This role is responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, stability studies, and contract testing activities are completed to the highest quality standards, on schedule, and in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.

As QC Supervisor, you will provide leadership and coaching to a team of 2-12 analysts, driving laboratory performance, data integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
