Job summary

Heineken Ireland is seeking a Laboratory Technician to ensure the quality, safety and integrity of products through analytical and microbiological testing. You will support sensory analysis, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives while upholding high standards of laboratory accuracy.

The role requires a third level qualification in Food, Science or Brewing, strong data interpretation, and the ability to work independently or within a cross‑functional team.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in Food, Science or Brewing.
• Experience in a laboratory with analytical and microbiological testing.
• Strong data interpretation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out analytical and microbiological tests per global standards to ensure product integrity.
• Interpret and report results; develop reports and graphs from the quality information system.
• Calibrate and verify laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Support sensory analysis and food safety compliance, audits and corrective actions.
• Maintain controlled documents in the document control system and manage quality information systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement (TPM) activities and problem solving.
• Assist in internal and external audits and report deviations.
• Support site safety culture by reporting incidents and near misses.
