Job summary

Westbourne is seeking a Laboratory E-systems Administrator to support the operation and technical performance of analytical testing systems. You will manage Empower, SmartLab, and LIMS, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity across multiple platforms.

The role involves collaboration with IT and global system teams, maintaining change controls, and contributing to continuous improvement projects while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a Laboratory Science or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience or strong aptitude in Laboratory E-systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as system administrator for E-systems used in the laboratory (e.g., Empower, Smartlab, LIMS).
• Troubleshoot issues related to E-systems performance and act as contact for E-systems technical issues.
• Update system data per change control and action item requests.
• Coordinate with IT on system upgrades and validation of electronic systems across the laboratory.
• Interface with global system representatives and consolidate system information for customers; present informal reports to supervision.
