Job summary

Westbourne IT Global Services is seeking an E-systems Specialist to provide operational and technical support for lab analytical systems, including LIMS, Empower, and SmartLab. The role covers administration, data updates, and collaboration with IT for upgrades and validation.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Laboratory Science or equivalent, with an aptitude for Laboratory E-systems and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement in a regulated lab environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Experience or aptitude in Laboratory E-systems preferred.
• Ability to learn new E-system techniques after training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as system administrator for E-systems (Empower, SmartLab, LIMS).
• Troubleshoot E-systems performance issues and handle technical contacts.
• Update system data per change control and action items.
• Coordinate with IT for system upgrades and validation.
• Interface with global system representatives and prepare informal reports.
• Participate in qualification and maintenance of electronic instruments.
• Support deviation investigations and document errors per procedures.
• Follow Environmental, Health and Safety procedures and assist in incident investigations.
• Assist in training others as skills develop.
• Support quality control and collaborate across teams.
